Yes, our classes are open to the public for a fee. We welcome everyone to join, and your participation helps support our mission to serve and uplift underserved communities.
Our programs are designed to support young parents facing barriers to education, workforce development, and employment due to childcare needs. To qualify, participants must meet the following criteria:
1 Age Requirement – Participants must be between 16 to 24 years old.
2 Parenting Status – Must have a child under the age of 5 who requires childcare.
3 Education and Workforce Status –
◦ At risk of dropping out of school, or
◦ Have left school due to childcare challenges, or
◦ Working to complete high school, obtain a GED, or pursue workforce development/employment opportunities.
4 Financial Need – Must be experiencing financial hardship or meet federal income guidelines.
5 Engagement – Willing to participate in parenting, employment, skill-building, or workforce development classes.
6 Childcare Eligibility – May or may not qualify for subsidized childcare.
If you meet these criteria and are ready to grow personally and professionally, we’re here to support you every step of the way!
Yes, you will need to provide documents like proof of income, age, school status, or work schedule. We’ll let you know if we need anything else, like childcare subsidy paperwork.
The length of time you can stay in the program depends on your individual progress and needs. Our goal is to provide support until you achieve key milestones, such as completing education, securing employment, or gaining workforce skills. Some participants may stay for several months, while others may continue receiving support longer if needed. We are committed to walking alongside you for as long as it takes to help you succeed.
